Meet Emily

Emily Skeels’ work is rooted in a holistic understanding of healing that honors the interconnectedness of mind, body, spirit, and environment.

Her approach has been shaped by years of immersion in cross-cultural healing traditions and a deep personal study of consciousness, alongside formal training in psychotherapy. This allows her to move fluidly between intuitive, experiential work and clinically grounded frameworks, offering expansive and responsible care.

She has experience supporting clients navigating substance use, identity transitions, relational dynamics, and complex psychological and spiritual processes, including spiritual emergence and integration.

Alongside her clinical path, Emily has spent years in direct study with Indigenous and Eastern traditions. Her time in the Amazon, India, and Central and South America has been devoted to disciplined learning, observation, and respect for the lineages she has been welcomed into. These experiences inform her work with a strong emphasis on ethics, holistic health, and cultural reverence.

What distinguishes Emily’s work is her ability to move between worlds. She supports clients in both individual therapeutic settings and group ceremonial contexts while maintaining a clear, grounded, and clinically responsible approach.

Her presence is steady, intuitive, and honest in a way that invites depth. She works well with individuals who are navigating expansion in their creative work, relationships, or internal world and who are ready to engage their experience with honesty.

Emily’s work is best suited for individuals moving through periods of expansion, transition, or deep internal reorganization.

She works with attachment patterns and relational dynamics, including those that may express through substance use and recovery, as well as identity exploration and the integration of altered states and transformative experiences.

Her practice also supports those navigating burnout, existential questioning, and the psychological complexity that can arise alongside rapid personal or professional growth.

Her approach draws from somatic therapy, Internal Family Systems, dialectical behavioral therapy, and existential frameworks, alongside refined intuitive attunement developed through years of direct practice.

Rather than applying a fixed method, Emily works responsively. She meets each client with precision, depth, and care.

Clients often come to this work when something deeper is asking to be met.

Working with Emily is grounded, relational, and deeply attuned to the complexity of being human.
